How to Become a Grocery Master

The Financial Diet (TFD)  is a very fun and educational Youtube channel that gives you plenty of knowledge and ways to tackle-down everyday financial life.

My Additions:

Bring a List: Writing down what you have already decided you need helps you stay focused and prevents you from buying things you want… but don’t actually need.

Use Apps: Apps like Ibotta or Walmart Savings Catcher help you get money back on purchases. Snap a picture of your receipt and you are good to go!

Budget: Establishing a monthly budget (whether on paper or mentally) of what you think you should be spending on groceries, can help you stay in control of your spending. Try limiting the amount of times you have to go to the grocery store.

Why the Free Cones?

According to their website, “As if getting FREE ice cream doesn’t feel good enough, Carvel is partnering for the sixth year with The American Red Cross to spread good will in support of the charity’s annual Giving Day. While supplies last, Carvel will offer a $1 coupon book worth more than $20 in Carvel savings, with all proceeds contributing to Carvel’s donation to the American Red Cross. Including donations this year, total contributions to support disaster relief efforts will exceed $150,000.

Lovely Life Reminder

Life Reminder:

Honestly, you are your worst enemy.

There is no one to blame for your decisions but yourself.

When there is something shi**y going on, don’t moan and groan about it. Take action!

Don’t close yourself from opportunities.

My Relatable Experience: You Totally Don’t Have to Read

> Lately, I’ve been feeling bored. I wish I had more people to talk to. But I also close myself to opportunities. I realize that I’m the reason I feel shi**y sometimes. I reject hangouts but then wish I could of gone out. Well that all is going to change. Truthfully, being in a new relationship has changed me a little bit and I feel like I should stay “myself”. My boyfriend is totally on board with that. But I’M the one stopping myself from getting out there. I’m young, I still have a lot to do and stuff to explore.
